Who we are

Nova Hortalis builds digital products and the systems behind them. The company draws on more than twenty-five years of experience in technology and program leadership, gained inside global enterprises and in the consultancies that serve them.

What we have done

That experience has run through commerce and retail platforms used by millions, media and streaming services, logistics and fulfillment, financial and regulatory programs, enterprise infrastructure and cloud migrations across continents, and machine learning and experimentation built into daily operations. It includes leading programs that spanned hundreds of teams and many countries, and founding, growing and selling a company.

On our own account: a growing set of products for businesses and for consumers, each with its own name and its own purpose, all held to the same standards: useful every day, careful with people’s data, built to last. Nova Hortalis is the company behind both, and it is built for the long run.

The name

Hortalis is a Late Latin word: of the garden. A garden is where many different things grow from the same ground, tended over years, and that is the kind of company this is meant to be. The mark says the same thing in circuitry: a chip at the center, traces running out from it like roots and branches, and one new shoot, in teal, at the top. Nova Hortalis: a new garden.
